Ryan Dionisio

I’ve been inspired by Motion lately.  Partially because of watching so much So You Think You Can Dance and America’s Best Dance Crew and also because of inspired lifelong projects of many great photographers.  I put an ad out on craigslist.com and have had some responses.  I’ll begin photographing people next week.

In the meanwhile I had the opportunity to photograph a lovely model named Megan.  She was interested in having some different and fun kinds of images made.  This is what we came up with:

Made using a black duvateen background and a single beauty dish on a boom set at F/11.0 at 1/125th at ISO 100.  There was also a green rim light shot into a V-Flat coming in from behind her and the right.  The key to the photo is pre-focusing.
